When you're friends come in to visit you, you expect to hang out, do some sight seeing, and do some bargaining at the shops here. Of course we did that, plus the exception of other things that I can't mention on here. It's a secret amongst us. Any how, we've done some unimaginable things that normal people would probably not be able to do back home. We pretty much shut it down every where we went, besides the exception of the club Republiq, but we were missing one, so bottle service was out of the question. We did run in to a few chicks that were half Persian-half Filipina. And it was a beautiful mix. Haven't really seen one like that, so I apologize if I'm late. We've passed a few boundaries of uncomfortableness around a friend of mine, but there's things in life you must experience even if you don't want to, you know what I mean?
There was also some business mixed in looking at condominiums to be purchased around the Newport area next to Manila Bay and SM Mall of Asia. There will be casinos constructed in that area so the value will soon rise in the next 3-5 years. plus they are cheap right now. We met some pretty incredible people that brought us to some exclusive areas. The best time ever.
Next came Boracay, we shut it down there also. And the crazy thing is I'll be back there for a second round come Monday, But I'm glad it's only for two days. I think any more than that would be too much to handle.
Miss my homies, but when I get back, it's on and poppin.

It's Been Awhile
It certainly has been awhile since I've last written in here. I haven't really given any time to myself lately. Actually, I have been giving myself more time, and I'm enjoying it. Although I do miss Cali, my home, my friends, my family, but there's things in life that you have to try, live and fight for. A dream is knocking on the door. Will you answer it or will you ignore it? Of course you would want to answer it, but unfortunately, it's not as simple as a knock on the door. You have to work hard, work harder. You have to earn it, earn respect from others that you belong there. And most importantly, you have to be confident, be Mr. Swag-off-the-charts!!
So far, I've been practicing with professional Philippines Basketball Association (PBA) team Barangay Ginebra Kings. At first, I didn't really know what to expect. The first day, I was involved in drills that had me guarding good players, for example, JayJay Helterbrand, Mark Caguiao, and Mike Cortez. Those guys, I didn't really know much about until a started to hang out around them more and more. They are all really cool guys, and that goes for the rest of the team, coaching staff, staff included. But what I want now is to be respected, and battling is what I have to do to rightfully earn respect.
The first half of the season, there was a rough patch. There was work needed to be done. There needed to be a commitment from the team, a sense of knowing each others role. They needed to play as a team to win as a team, and if they lost as a team, collectively they would lose, but losing made the team better. It was an obstacle. The team was good! Most of the teams they lost to, it was because of the mistakes they did to themselves. Not taking care of the ball, not executing, not sharing, that's how they lost. But they ended the season on a good note, tied for 4th with Rain or Shine at 9 wins and 5 loses and also with a 4-game win streak coming in to the playoffs. And who is there first round match up? None other than Rain or Shine in a best of three series. It's not going to be a walk in the park match up, but who says anything is going to be easy without putting in work?
That's where I want my level of game to be. Better yet beyond, so I can be labeled as one of the greats. And it all starts with hard work and dedication.
Happy Holidays to all my friends and family back home.

Inspiration of the Day: Luther Vandross

Need I say more? He was a legend, a voice that will probably never be duplicated again. A talent that's once in a lifetime. He voice was soothing, loving, caring; you can sense all of that coming from his voice. He helped paved the way for R&B artists today whether they acknowledge it or not. Thank you Mr. Vandross, you have been one of my inspirations.

Positive Energy
When I think of this world I think of how positive everything can be. If everyone had a positive attitude, there would be no war, no violence, no animosity. But reality is, the world is not perfect and unfortunately violence and war and animosity is inevitable. But to those that can use positive energy to help not only themselves, but others shows that that person is in control of their destiny and that positive energy can be contagious like a disease, but a good disease. I would call it "positivity" disease. When you have a great attitude towards something or someone, you will see how much of an affect you will see on it, him/her, whoever. When you see negativity, I mean there really is no need for it. It's really all about self-control and just being able to be calm in every situation. I know that sometimes we approach things with hostility, but all we really need to do is to take a deep breath and embrace it, and flip that negativity into positivity. Seek the truth. Live the truth. Spread the truth. One day at a time, and one day my charity organization will be a step towards a more positive me. Spread it...Positivity.

Last Weekend
It was one of the best weekends I've had this month! I've been just going out, and having a great time with all my friends. Haven't been able to do that in some time since all I've been doing was working and making money. I managed to meet this girl at The Office in North Park. Super fly! She's playing games, some thing that I would do. And what's funny, is that we instantly connected! She saw my birthday was on Saturday, and her birthday is today..2 days before my birthday. Gosh, she is so beautiful, and I've never had my heart skip this way since my last girl. And that was all in between 1 and 2am. Crazy right?! None of my boys wanted to participate, and just left me hangin, so I had to do it solo. Why would a group of girls just stay next to me and just chill and drink? Other guys tried to holla at her friends, and I saw her chillin at the bar lookin at her facebook, so i intervened and commented on her sexy heels! Then the game stepped in. We had so many similarities, from going to school at Cal State San Marcos to having our birthdays seperated by 2 days to loving basketball. And when a girl talks about basketball, that instantly got my attention. She's a Miami Heat fan that loves Lebron. I'm a Lakers fan that loves Kobe, but hey, I can adapt. I'ma leave it at that..to be continued..

Happy Mother's Day and Past Events
This might have been thee best week I've had a some time! And before I forget, Happy Mother's Day to all the mommys and soon to be mommys. Mad respect for y'all! So Thursday was Cinco de Mayo, and Luke hit me up to see if I wanted to hit up PB. Why not? I don't really go out often, so I decided to go out for a change, and it was by far the best decision I've made. The best nights are nights when I'm not sober because I get the truth out and I'm more direct instead of keeping in what I really want to say. Who cares right? We need to live a little, get out and get some breathing room between the stresses of life. Saw some faces I've seen, but never met and a homie's sister, and not to mention girls, girls, girls, girls...girls I do adore! Was bout to leave with one of them, but Luke wouldn't let me. Go figure right. It's all good, no need to rush anything. And she's a dope girl, nice personality, and a cutie that I couldn't resist keeping my hands off. Anyways, the randomness of that night continued on to Denny's where we met two other girls. So random, but that's how it went. Loved it!
Birthday is coming up Memorial Day weekend! Come out to Vegas with me and help me celebrate. Everyone is invited! It's gonna be a fun weekend, no doubt!

2011...Nearly Half Way Through
We envision a goal each day and in order to do it, you must do it. There's no maybe's or I thinks, you have to know you can and will in order to become the person you want to be. Take pride and have self confidence in yourself. My goal is to make the PBA, and I will.
My mind is made up. There's no looking back. Only looking ahead. The future. Friends will always be there, no matter the distance. And you never know, friends that have the same goal might end up there with you living that dream. I'm gonna make it, on behalf of the people that believe me or the doubter's that don't believe me. I want it, and I don't care what it takes.
I WILL MAKE IT!
This is for...me.
